Poll: What do you all use for chemical filtration in your reef tanks?

Hey guys, It's been a long time since I've had a full reef tank and I'm getting into the hobby from a long break. I'm getting my tank slowly stocked and all is going well. In the past aside from a TLF phosban (GFO) reactor I didnt do much else of chemical media. I had fine luck with everything aside from the harder SPS corals. Well this time around I want to build my system to handle anything I want to put in it. I have been reading nitrate reducing bio pellets in a reactor is the norm these days? This true...

I run ChemiPure Elite and Purigen but that's in a 29 gallon Biocube so I can afford to run them both, if I was looking at a bigger systems I'd probably just run Carbon and GFO in a BRS Dual Reactor. Might try to figure something out so that I could run Purigen in a reactor since they do sell it in a loose powder form and it's worked really well for me in the past.

I run Rox .8 carbon, GFO, and I dose 60ml of vinegar per day. I'm also in the process of setting to run Cuprisorb on an occasional basis for heavy metal removal.

Carbon, GFO and Purigen for me

carbon changed monthly
GFO every 4 -6 weeks approx
Purigen lasts about 4 months on average before I replace it, with a previously regenerated pouch
