How much water do you change and how often?

I change 5% every week. I'd be interested to know what others do.

In my 65 I changed about 20% TWICE LAST YEAR. I am due to do a small one soon. Deep sand bed baby. The only reason I even do any water changes is to rebalance minor elements...

20% waterchange with ReefCrystals every few months on my 120-gallon,

I add strontium/moly with my continuous kalk dosing

Hey guys
I have a full reef with 4 fish, skim wet, feed daily, and add supplements weekly (str/moly, coral vite, tech m, essential elements). I do approx 25% monthly (reef crystals). Trates less than 1ppm.

I do 10% to 20% every week with IO and add seachem marine buffer.

Weekly 50% changes with Oceanic on the nano and 10% weekly changes on the 40g frag system. Continous top off with kalk. Dose iodine, strontium/moly weekly on the frag. No dosing on the nano due to large changes. Also, I don't run a skimmer on either the nano or the frag system. Do run purigen and phosphate remover on the nano and carbon and phosphate remover on the frag system. I feed both systems daily and water parameters are all normal.

ya i got yelled at from everyone ... so today me and ryan are doing a water change
i have to go to his house to get the ro water and drive it back to mine for the change

I do 15-20% every few weeks.

just did mine this morning and did all the maintance on the tank .. like clean the skimmer and pumps .... it all looks alot better
