Melev's joke was that his Reefaddicts.com website has been so successful that Reefcentral.com was going to buy it from him (and rename it Reefaddictscentral.com). He then goes on with posting pictures of estates, vehicles, and other toys that he is considering buying from the proceeds of the sale. Kind of funny and creative...don't think he should be banned from Reefcentral.

well what do you know, the good people from reefcentral are taking a joke to far and banning yet another valuable member. they forget without people like Melev this site is worthless. they have banned so many as it is that soon it will be nothing but a bunch of newbies and mods giving each other poor advice. Melev has so many great threads with awesome advice its insane to get rid of him over something so stupid. I dare you to name one mod that has contributed half as much as Melev has. Mods will eventually be the death of this site. uh oh, I think I see a mod coming now, quick run and hide before they wave there magic wands.

i understand what the mods are trying to do is supposed to be for the better of the site and they have alot of tough decisions to make with so many people but sometimes i think they just want the site to die with the poor decisions they make ...or is it just a mob mentality? ...you be the judge

The mods are seeing to it that RC is little more than a gigantic for sale forum with little valuable information anymore. And, it always gets to me that they always point back to the terms of use page. We know what the terms of use are. But, it's getting more and more like booting a fan from a game because he got too excited or boisterous or emotional about how his team is playing. Melev will definitely be missed for his contributions to RC.

Considering that Marc had already been removed from TRC and Reefkeeping magazine because he'd stolen our trademarked logo and was selling product with it, his "joke" was the last straw.
