Best to just go with 2 mil and double bag all & triple pointy stuff like BN?

Or get 3 mil and still double & triple?

Is 3 mill fine for the pinty sharp stuff?

Or need 4 mill?

What size bags do you suggest in general too? 4x8 for most small frags & 6x10 for large 3" frags stuff.

I have used the snack ziplock bags for small stuff, zoo round plugs or fresh cut sps and they are more than large enuf (3.5x6.5")

The regular sandwich size work for larger frags/2" small colonie stuff.

for some reason, 3mill sounds like what i remember people saying. (and double no matter, unless its a birdsnest or something sharp, and then they will double bag, with a loose bag inside to help with the puncturing.

but i want to know the answer to this as well.
(and you can deff tell when someone uses cheap bags when you get an order.....
you never hear of people complaining because they used too thick of a bag...)

For most bagging, I used 2-mil stuff - it's quite a bit cheaper.

If something was getting shipped, it generally got 3-mil bags (and often a 6-mil black liner). I always double-bagged, inverting the first bag into the second.

4"x8" or 4"x12" was usually my standard size. 6"x12" was the first step up...I'm not sure you'll need anything larger for frags.

3 mil for the smaller bags , 6" + use 4 mil and always at least double bag.
Never worth the risk to go any less to me.
JMO / IME .
