another milestone for me.
This weekend I began the plumbing.

I had a neighbor help me take the canopy off the tank.
I drilled (2) holes on the sides of my overflow for 2" closed loop bulkheads
I connected them using 2" flexible PVC tubing to bulk heads in the floor of the overflow that will be connected to
2 dart hybird pumps that are in the stand.
I also hooked up the (2) 1.5" overflow drains.

I'm getting there :)

I got a bit more done, I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel :)

One of the big hold-ups for me was to connect the tank to the rest of my system.
(wife was not too happy)
It required drilling the holes through hardwood flooring for two inch flex PVC supply and drain lines. I was very concerned, as you will see in the attached pictures the holes were in a area that had a ton of wiring. So I am proud to say that I have gotten to the point where I can fill the tank. It should take about a week, and then I can start the transfer of live rock from my sump up into the tank.
