Pom Pom Xenia near Purple Gorgonian

Hello all, i have some Pom Pom Xenia that seems to be spreadin gpretty good. Tomorrow i plan on adding a Purple Gorgonian about 5 inches away. My dilema is when the Xenia spreads over to the Gorgonian, will there be a battle?

it's good to keep your Xenia thin out other wise they grow like weeds

Xenia spreads like a weed. I put some near the glass in my 34g Solana and now its all over the glass. I scrape it off using a razor blade and every little piece thats left over seems to sprout new heads.

yeah i my tiny piece of xenia took over my entire tank in only a week, now i have to take some out every few days
