Poop Pictures

I'm a med student, so asking or looking at poop pictures has never been an issue, but I am definitely smiling while typing this!

I have a new pair of True percs purchased from a trusted LFS. I also had them kept at the LFS for an extra week while I finished eradicating an isopod problem.

Now that they have been home for almost 1 mos I am starting to pay attention to patterns. And pooping is one of them. I don't remember looking at this on any of my previous tanks or fish, and google hasn't really turned up much, but here is what I'm looking for:

I don't know what normal fish poop should look like vs. what stringy poop looks like!
does anyone have pictures of both? The stringy poop on google I can see, but I can't tell if there is a diff between that and normal.

My fish look healthy, eat whenever I put food in, do their normal swim patterns, all fins are clean, unfolded, and there is no heavy breathing. So I doubt they are ill, but I just want to be sure.

Stringy poop is just that. White poop isn't good. White stringy poop is a bit worse.
Pop shouldn't hang for long out the but.
Post your observations.

The poop is white, but is not like silk thread thin, it doesn't hang very long/far after being expelled.
Fish are bright colored, eat well, pectoral and dorsal fins wide open and non-tattered, no heavy breathing

Just don't want to say something is normal if its not.

If I was to treat with prazi, can I do so in the DT? Or would I need to put them in a hospital tank? (There are some SPS, LPS, sponges, and CUC in the DT)?

I've treated with Prazipro many times in QT and only once in DT. I found that one round of Prazipro in QT was more effective than 2 rounds in DT based on symptoms fish were showing or not showing after each treatment. It may have been a coincident but live rock might have affected the strength of medication.

Yes. It will help your clowns even if administered in DT

I wouldn't use it in the display - clownfish are easy enough to catch and medication in the display tank is almost always a bad idea.
I would treat them in a 10 gallon hospital tank.

I have used prozipro in a 30G biocube reef tank with Zoas, hammers, leathers, CUC, and it didn't have a negative effect on anything.
I also agree that a10g ht is always better for treatment..
