This is my version of a closed loop without drilling. The MAG Drive does pull the water with he help of a siphon. If power goes in and out, starts back up again.
I really like the concept. IMO, I think the manifold that you have inside the tank would go great being a rock wall. Very creative, this gives me some ideas.
I've used a over the top plumbed closed loop before a couple times.
Once with a mag 12 going to a single fan outlet, and another time with a Poseidon P4 that went to 2 sea-swirls.
