Poor Pink Skunks... :-(

I'm actually embarrassed to post this. I went out of town and came home to this algae growing. For some reason, the snails do a great job on the rest of the tank, but not in this one spot. At any rate, thought the pink skunks were cute sleeping in it. Poor things! Their new LTA should be in this week.

Awwww...cute! :) I was actually relieved to see that picture, because the thread title made me worried that something bad had happened to them. (love all clownfish, but have a soft spot for pink skunks.) Glad to see they're just fine. Clowns will use anything as a host...but I'm sure they'll be very happy to see that LTA. Good luck with it!

Thanks. I'm just embarrassed about the algae problem. That's the one area of the tank I can't seem to get rid of it. It just keeps coming back! Let me know if you have any suggestions.

But they sure are cute, aren't they? I didn't even realize they were doing that until I happened to walk by real late last night. I'm sure they will be glad to have their LTA. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow.

The clowns love it and the water will actually be cleaner with it there. That said I would definately look into some major WCs, carbon addition, phosphate remover and physical removal.
