Ok. So my tank has reoccurring popeye. Whenever someone gets stressed both eyes pop. Most survive to get it again later. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I've heard popeye has a viral form that the fish can become carriers of and then you just always have it. I need some experts on the topic to weigh in Norge subject. I've got a good but of knowledge being a biologist but this one has me stumped.

IMO, bacterium would be more likely (than a virus). Have any of these fish ever been treated with antibiotics for this? How long has this been going on?
