Are you sure it's eating them? They live in anemones, and may choose a ricordea anemone as a host. Mine lives in my ricordea, choosing them over the 4 bubble tips available to them (but occupied off and on by the clownfish pair)
Well it may not be a porcelain crab because i know for sure it was eating it. because the edge of one of the ric's has bright green tips and i could see it ripping them off because they are bright green and i saw him do it to the two polyps he has been hanging out by. These crabs are all reddish with yellowish spots. They are small only about an inch or so maybe a tiny bit bigger. If you tell me how to post pics I will.
Then you reply on the forum, and you click the IMG button on the top there, under the smileys. And then you put the address that photobucket gave you inside of the box. Thats about it...
They are filter feeders, and have filter feeding apparatuses ( fan like aparatus )...
they also come in purple/burgandy with blueish lines...The whites always host anemone's while the purpleish ones hang out rock crevices... sometimes will pick off algae pieces off rocks..
It looks like neither and I know for a fact its not a sally light foot. I'm going to work on getting some pics up soon my roomate has a photobucket so I'll just use his.
