I am completelyyyy in love with this fish However I dont want to jeopardize my reef build. I am just curious of the people who have them? Who has them in a reef tank and how have they done? I know they will eat snails/hermits.... I have no problem replacing them. But as far as SPS/LPS/softies? Any suggestions/opinions

Be prepared for it sampling pretty much anything in the tank. Like all puffers, they keep their teeth trimmed by crunching on things. They are wonderful fish, just maybe not well suited for a reef tank.

I like mine, but he's such a pig, he tries to eat all the food I put in, so it's hard to feed to feed the bottom dwellers.

It shouldn't bother corals. It more interested with moving things like snails and crabs. It might bother clams but that is hit or miss. If you don't mind replacing your clean up crew now and then, you will be fine. Keeping him well fed will help as well.
