Positioning of Two 6080's

Hi Roger, you helped me out a few times while planning my new 210 galln tank (72" long, 24" wide, 30" high). Thanks so much! Thanks to your help, I purchased 2 6080's and have them installed. Besides a Mag18 as my return pump, these 6080's will be the only flow in my tank.

Just wondering

1) whats the best positioning for each of them? Right now I simply have them at opposite ends of the tank towards each other. Is this optimal?

2) The directions said something about positioning them right at the surface of the water, or near it?? Should they be high up?

I would place them about 6" from the top. You really have to find what works in your tank but as a starting point I suggest both back corners aimed to the front center.
