Possible Alleopathy (Chemical Warfare)?

Ok, so this is crazy! I noticed that one of my two new Gigantea's had went down. They have been in QT on Cipro since I got them. It's shocking that he deflated. He looked exactly like this when I bought him in the LFS. So anyway, I decided to move the Gig that was doing well, and put him in my DT. After setting him in there, I noticed my Haddoni expelling something funky. He was either taking a huge ****, or shooting out toxins. It was a straight cloudy stream shooting a good 12" out. I think he may have released some chemicals, because after he was done he deflated like the new Gig in the tank irritated him. To me it seemed like he was defending himself. Either way, I was able to document it with PICS! :-) So far nothing is reacting to it. What do you guys think? Either I just caught the first Haddoni in captivity ****ing on camera, or Alleopathy. :eek2:
:lmao:

Yes my tank is established. I've gave away some LR and added new rock to the old if you're wondering. :-)

The only one that was affected was this small torch coral directly in front of the Haddoni and in direct path of cloud. He was fully open with 4" tentacle extension prior.

Need to find out why it spawned.

Had this happen to a blue one I had about 6 years ago. Long story short, went in for emergency back surgery (( was leaking cerebral/spinal fluid )), and while I was in the hospital the temp spiked and the main pump ran dry.

A day after being released and getting a new pump, the anemone spawned. IMO/E, 100% stress induced. The anemone was never the same after that, and slowly went down hill --- took about 9 months to finally lose it.

Definetly stress induced.

He's has been acting weird lately. I'm fixing to put him in a tank by himself for a while.

When I added a new gig to my system, my haddoni went downhill quickly. Only moving it to another tank saved it.
While your anemone was definitely spawning, don't be shocked if you end up with other issues.

Yeah for sure. He's not looking good. Fixing to move him.
