Possible "Black Ich"

So I just got my new possum wrasse yesterday. He is eating mysis, and is showing no signs of stress at all. He is in QT right now. No ammonia or nitrite, this tank has been up for a while. Salinity 1.021 ph 8.4. I noticed some small brownish dots on his sides today. Here is a pic (sorry is is not good, iphone sucks. Look closely and you can make out some dots):

Possibly, it's actually a type of worm that Prazipro will take care of. CP works too I believe. A better picture would help for better diagnosis. tends to be associated with tangs.

thanks, that is what i heard. it is hard to get a pic because this little guy moves around a lot. i have both cupramine and prazipro on hand, so i was thinking of dosing prazipro. anything specific for using it? i have not actually used it before

I dose it at the recommended amount per the bottle and after 3 days I do a water change and redose for another 3 days. The bottle says 5 but the effectiveness seems to wear off after 3. Letting it go for 5 days won't do any harm. If you ever have questions about the meds you are thinking about using, call the number on the bottle they will have all the information you need
