Possible cause of Zoos not opening?

I've got a rock of bright green zooathids. It started from a frag of about 10 polyps and has grown to i'd say around 40-50.
For the last week almost none of the polyps have opened. The colony looks much less dense now, also. I'm not sure if this is from something eating them or just because they are not opening.

Does anyone know what could being eating them or other reason for them not opening? Is it possible that a peppermint shrimp or emerald crab could be eating them?

calcium is ~400
dKH ~ 10
pH ~ 8.1
temp ~ 77deg.
NO2/NO3 and phosphates are 0

Any suggestions are very appreciated!

I've looked all over the zoos at night after the lights have been out for anywhere from 2 to 5 hours. I've seen nothing at all.
Should I try and remove the peppermint shrimp? It's the last thing i've added.
Any specific signs I should look for? I can post a pic on here if it would help in the diagnostics...

try a fresh water dip and i'd take the piece out of the water and go over it very closely out of water w/ the polyps closed. perhaps there are sundials in between polyps that you can't see without picking through. almost like in grade school when you get checked for lice lol.

Here's a pic, anyone see anything suspicious?

I guess i'll just have to cut the polyps that are attached to the little rock and the main rock...
Only freshwater? should I add any iodine? how long is enough, 10mins ?

i think that 10 minutes in fw would kill off any nudis, r/o that problem. the bubble algae could be bothering the polyps. it seems to be overgrowing some zoas in the pic. they also look like florida zoas and they should have heavy flow, try a high flow area.

Ok, I did a 10min RO/DI dip. Any guess as to how long until they open up again? that is, if that solved the problem.
