I have not yet given up hope but i am afraid that Ted might have bit the bullet. i have not seen him now for almost a week but today i found some remains but i am not sure whether he is just molting or wether the he is gone forever. a couple weeks ago i added a crab that i got at the local pet store for free just a hitchhiker and figured it would give ted something to do but for about 5 days now i have not seen either of them so i am preparing for the worst. tank paramiters checked out fine so i dont know would have thought something would be off if they both died. will update with new news.

all is well he peaked out today long enough for me to slip him a piece of shrimp he would not come out all the way and i think he has since gone back into hiding.
