So I made another noob mistake. I did too many things at once. I added 4 snails, did a water change, and added a bag of charcoal to my HOB on the same day. A few minutes after the water change, I noticed white spots all over my clowns and one of them started to act weird. He would swim face forward into my circulation pump and start nipping at my hermit crabs. I tried pulling them out to get into QT but they were just too active to catch so I was going to wait till morning while they slept in the corner to catch them. Well, the next morning I noticed all the white spots gone, but they were still a bit bumpy. Also, one of their tails were starting to disappear like it's been eaten. The fins look fine, it's just the tail.
I got them into QT and before I medicate with anything I want to find out what they have. Unfortunately I was unable to get any pictures. The white spots were very fine and they were all over the body. Now the white spots are gone but they still look like they have bumps. And on one of them the tail is almost completely gone.
Also, does leaving the DT fallow mean taking out all inverts and corals? Or will ICH go through it's cycle with them in there if it is ICH?
