Possible Metal Halide FS

I'm just looking to see if anyone would be interested in a coralife 48" with (2) 150w ballasts. It's the older model without moon lights. The cooling fans dont work and I'll be replacing them before putting up for sale, but want to see if anyone would be interested first.

What size are the fans? I have a 48" coralife t5 HO setup that needed fans too and I bought a couple. If I can sell my fixture I'd much rather have the MH setup for my 55.

My husband said from the outside it looks to be 4.5. I think they're suppose to be somewhat universal?

hmm... id have to see it i guess. double ended or single ended MH? with the compact fluorescent for supplemental actinics? I have moonlights that I can hook up since that doesn't come with them.

any interest in a trade for the t5 setup + cash?

No actinic. One of the older models. I was gonna add actinic. Should be easy to do. Attaching pictures. Didn't u say the fans are bad in ur t5?

the fans IS bad but I have two on order (one for the setup and one as a backup) so I can install them if they get here before we meet up or I can mail them to you once they come

I'm not against trading I just haven't done any t5 research. I was moving towards led. Let me look into it.


My issue is heat, my tank runs 83+ and I'm just using t8. No way can I run mh without a chiller. Idk if t5 would be any easier on the heat aspect.
