A poster above said that due to inbreeding the captive bred A.Ossc are growing with flared gills? Could someone explain this a little further and perhaps provide a pic of what a CB Black Perc with flared gills looks like?
I'm waiting for my cycle to end and hope to get a pair of clowns in the coming weeks. Trying to find out all I can.

They're definately black o's, the only doubt being whether they're wc or not. There was a pair of ORA's close by and I couldn't tell the difference between them.
As for the chrys, they were actually akins, and look identical to my pair. I think the bad ID was due to the fact that they do have a blue tint to the stripes. They are very nice though, a golden honey color with a little wider bar than you normally see on akins. Here's an old pic from my gallery showing what they look like.
