Hi,
Currenly considering an upgrade to atank in this range. (most probably 80x32x28) and need to make up my mind on things like middle overflow or one on the side or maybe 1 on each side... as well as a two islands one from left and one from right meeting in a valley in the middle or a 3 islands over the length of the tank on different angles to beetter show deapth or....
Any pics of tanks of this size range in addition to whatyou like and what you don't about the scape or overflow.... in your tank would be a great help. I'm still in early planning phase so I still have the time to implement any new ideas or suggestions I get.
Thanks.

My 300 been running for almost 2 years...

THe tank is 96x24x32 It has 2 overflows one in each corner. It is also drilled in the bottom for 2 closed loop systems. The lighting is 8 - 48" T5's I also have 3 - 250 watt halides but do not run them...

RBU1 That is a very nice looking set up. Sweet softy tank and great looking cabinet work.

Nice setup RParker.
Did check yuor build thread earlier as my setup will be very similar to yours with the tank in the middle of a wall with cabinets around it. how aboutthe top will you cover the lights by a canopy?
Also interested in your scape, it does look very nice but I'm guessing this tank needs a bit more LR for filtration as well as for coral placement.

rparker r u planning on adding more LR

The tank will have a canopy, but I haven't decided on what style I would like for it.

I did add another mound of rock in front on the over flow chamber. All in all I probably have approx. 200 lbs of rock in the tank.
