I just wanted to start a thread to show off your tanks. =) I havent seen pics of a lot of people that surf here, and I know most of us got some stuff to show off from the frag swap :)

Here is a pic of my tank after I took out all of the sand (yay!). I went for a two island look, with a bunch of corals growing into the channel in the center. Gives a good sense of depth.

And a close up of my regal who has been with me for a little over a year:

Lets see some pics!

That is awsome!!!!! I could only pray for a tank that beautiful!!!! Mine is a work in progress, but with the help and advise of some great new friends ( ONE OF THESE DAYS ) my dream will come true.

Chuck, I just took some pics last night of the 90 now that we took the sand out and redid the rock work. I'll have to charge the camera up tonight and make sure they came out alright. If so, I'll get them posted.

Nice tank by the way - looks great.

Thanks moriah!

Thats a regal and juvy emporer. The regal loves zoas, so I dont have anymore of those. They both love clams, so I dont have anymore of those. But we're all a big happy family now.

Really nice, Chuck!

These are the latest ones I can find of mine -- I think I have some newer ones somewhere.

Wow, Chuck! Looks really super! About those orange ricordea at the bottom - did you get them all at once, or did a few grow and split for you over time (how much time?) into that beautiful grouping?

I just got a few polyps from John's Reeftopia order that are really tiny now. I put them in a rubble tray to attach for about a week before I glue them into the tank.

norman are those maxima clams that you got at the very top?...or am i just seeing things

and jack, you have the coolest, and most controlled GSPs that ive ever seen!!!

robert...whats the actual color of that one clam....the one right beside the crocea

Well it was a darker purple, but seems to be getting lighter and lighter. I think the frogspawn was begining to touch it and I moved the frogspawn and put the clam in the sand yesterday. It is a Crocea too. I hope it makes it. It looks good except for the color.

oh ok...i still think its cool!...lol...for a minute there i was like "whoa, thats the coolest color clam ever!!!"

oh yea, i think ive read somewhere that croceas dont really like being on the sand....and would prefer to be attached to a rock....did yours not attach?

Howard - The rics started out as just two a little over a year ago. It doesnt take much for them to start popping out new ones. Ive got a couple from a reeftopia order a while back that have more than doubled.

Thats looking good norman. Have you noticed any difference in the growth or color of the corals since the t5 switch?

Chuck: I have seen some really good growth, and color is still very vivid. of course I added a calcium reactor just a few weeks before I changed the lights. and now I plan on switching to tunze for some better circulation.

John said>>norman are those maxima clams that you got at the very top?...or am i just seeing things

John, no I think they are crocea nano clams, but there is one gold maxima in the very bottom left of the picture.
