The turn out was kinda small but it worked out that we could squish everyone in and eat in the basement by the tank and stay away from all the flies. Very nice party I thought and I hope I didn't snub anyone with all my running around. Let’s see if I can get this right now.

We had:
Ron(Limpit) and his wife (sorry not good with names)
Jason(jmcarz), his wife, and pumpkin (sorry not good with names)
Brian (Bri Guy)
Michell (Nellie)
Scotters reef and wife Connie I think
Kass, her husband Tim, and two pumpkins Geena and friend
Me and my wife Chris (I remember those names)

With all my running around I feel like I missed some people but my brain don't work so well anymore so if I did just yell out and I will remember.

I wish I remembered all the names but you didn't post them so I couldn't go back and cheat :rolleye1: Oh well thanks for coming everyone and hope it was worth the trip.

Mike,

Thanks for having us all, and what a GREAT tank!!!! I just can't figure out why you don't have a recliner right in front of it :)

The clowns and cardinals were just as interesting. I wish we had a spot for one of the clowns, but my current ocellaris wouldn't approve I think :)

I've also already put the bulldozer on notice: "Knock over one of these frags, right to the garden you go!".

OH!! And forgot to ask while there, and while it was probably mentioned I didn't hear. Your profile already says you have 250w DE Ushios, but what color bulb is it?

Thanks for the great meeting Mike! Your tank is amazing, I'm still in awe of all your big SPS colonies! It was a lot of fun gabbing, and the food was yummy too...that corn was DELICIOUS! :D It was cool seeing your babies, those tiny cardinals are really cute. Thanks for the frag too, I already have it glued to a rock, ready to grow! It's still sliming a bit but hopefully calms down soon. And thanks Ron for the GSPs, those are starting to poke out, they're definitely a brighter green than the ones we already had. I was even inspired to do some fragging of my own after Mike & Kass were cutting today, got home and snipped off a few pieces of the giant green tree coral. :)

I had a GREAT time again as I always do.
I love getting together with all you guys. I always feel to like I did'nt get to talk enough with everyone but you guys know me lol ya can't ever shut me up.
Tim and Geena and McKanna had a good time to.
He missed his turn on the way home hahaha see it's not only me. We took the scenic route AGAIN lol through Green Bay.

I'll get all you chickens to start fragging pretty soon lol. I know I was always scared at first but once you do it for awhile it's like ok who's head is coming off next? Sorry I ripped the shroom Bri they usually come off without doing that. I'd just prolly cut it where it ripped.

Mike I really am in awe of you for raising those clowns and then just "finding" baby cardinals. Thats just so awesome to me.

Briguy it was nice to meet you. I said to hubby you prolly thought I was an ahole after I kept posting on your 30 gal thread lol but I just did'nt know why you were cycling like that and did'nt mean to be an ahole lol.

Everyone else it was really nice seeing all of you again. I'm really glad we have this club.

Thanks again Mike the food was GREAT and we all had a nice time.
My hubby really like the scenery by the lake and stuff to.

Oh and DUH I forgot to thank Ron for the great chaeto. I did'nt expect so much but it's just what I need and really nice. I hope it grows now.
Also thanks to Mike for the really cool zoa's (that I begged for lol)
They opened right up and are really nice.

I too, had a great time at the meeting, and I can't thank ALL of you enough for all your help, frags, info, food, filter bags, rides, fragging, advise, etc.
Nice meeting all of you too!

Great tank Mike, i cant wait to have mine going for awhile and have a nice "mature" tank look like you have, it just looks so natural, like it should be.

Those baby cardinals are soooo cute, nice job (even though they were a supprise to even you) you must have "set the mood" in that tank!

And dont worry about the post Kass, its good to get a couple of differant views of the picture

thankx again everybody
Bri Guy

Thank you Mike for a very nice time and for the eats.
Also had a great time talking to you all.

Your welcome's go out to all who saved the GSP's from getting nuked and to those who took some filter bags. I still have a whole bag of them left and will just bring them along the next time.

We just got back here about an hour ago from Keshena. Kass the stars made the delayed trip no problem, thank you for them.

Looking forward to future meetings,
Ron

Yep it is always great to get together with all you guys don't ever change to much. Heres a couple pics of Kass's and Nellie's Zoos.

Great meeting Mike. I too was inspired to go home and get fired up and do some serious tank work. I wish I could have stayed till the end, but my mom (grandma) sprung a last minute demand for taking the kids to Bay Beach before school started, and that was the only day that worked.

I really enjoyed seeing your baby clowns. For something that I have worked so hard to create myself, and been so unsuccessful, it really got my heart pounding to see your babies. Pictures... I've seen pictures... lots of pictures... but to see the actual fish, and as small as you have them in the back room. WOW! (and I your the ! key pretty sparingly.)

I said it at the meeting, your obviously doing something right. Anyone who has more accidental frags than they have deliberate frages and corals... is obviously doing something right. I'm watching with great interest the difference between our Blue Mille frags and Cap frags.... Identical twins, seperated at fragging. They should mirror each other... except that your running some kind of holy water in your tank...

Ron, A thousand thank yous for the GSPs. I have some spread into each of the three independant systems. Some under Flo's some under Cf's and some under the 250W halides. (carefully placed per your direction) Thank you also for the filter socks. The will come in very handy, especially for the algae vac. The look like they are easy to clean too.

and back to Mike, I've used my 100mm macro, it's not easy to get clear pics like the ones you posted... especially thru glass. I think Ron is right... I have the exact same camera and lens and I have trouble... Again... appears your doing great.

Who was that who was talking about the tv show Firefly at the meeting? I think it was someone there, unless it was at some other event I was at. I can't remember for sure, I just remember talking about it, lol! Unless it was at a wedding I was at a few weeks ago. hmmmm....now that I think about it taht sound smore likely. Anyway, if it WAS somebody there (or if anybody else liked the show--it was on Fox 3 or 4 years ago and only lasted a little while but was a great show!!), I just saw a commercial on Universal HD channel that they're going to be airing it, premiering Sept. 24. It's channel 74 on DirecTV.
