BB, DBS, SSB, however you run your SPS system I would like you to post pics, equipment specs, and whatever else you would like about your system. This will not leave the reefcentral.com forum in case you were wondering. You can post your spects however you want however please include the following info and preferably a picture of said equipment: lighting, sump/no sump, skimmer, water movement device(s), BB/DSB/SSB/other, maintenance (no pictures required), a fts photo, and anything else you happen to run or do. I think this will be a great way for eveyone to get to know other member's SPS systems and just get to spam your heart out (with wonderful photos and shots
;) ).

Thank you,

Cody

58g Oceanic tank w/ custom full tank length overflow and external standpipe box (not siphon)

20g (24l x 16w x 12h.. its a 20H on its side) sump.

Reef Octopus NW200 skimmer.
Mag 5 return pump.

Flow:
2x Seio820
2x Maxijet900 prop mods
roughly 5000gph of flow total

Sander C50 ozonizer on Milwaukee SMS510 controller

2x250w MH. One a Geisman nova running a geisman megachrome bulb. One a Reef Optix 3 on an icecap ballast with an Aqualine Bushke 10K that is getting replaced with a phoenix 14k. (all in my big hood)

Livestock, as of a month ago, most of which I lost in my tank move :(

1 16" Sebae anemone with breeding pair of Occelaris (alive)
Halicoeres Iridis - absolutely beautiful fish that eats pests (lost)
Macropharngydon Meleagris - Same (deceased)
Halicoeres Melanarus - Same (alive !)
Cirrhilabrus Cyanopleura - pretty, and (dead)
Cirrhilabrus Exquisitus - pretty, carpet surfed the first day new tank was set up.
Centropyge Potteri - was eating flake, had him a year (dissapeared after move)

My SPS I have about 50% left, but theyre doing well.
Have a bunch of blastos, and favids, a hammer and frog, and tons of zoos.

DSB, about 4-5" of Kolorscape. (let the girlfried use what was left of the southdown for her seahorses. The kolorscape holds down in the flow better anyways.)

Custom Nielsen reactor and autotopoff for Kalk.

I'm sure its got more junk on it, but I can't think of it right now. Every time I look at my tank, I want to cry. Poor fishies.

Specs in my sig.

Mine has only been running for 4 months so I'm still in the process of stocking with frags.

Here are some pics.

180 Gallon Reef Information

Set-up on January 7, 2000

Tank Specs: All-Glass 180 Reef Ready 72x24x24

Lighting: PFO/IceCap Hood with two IceCap 4" fans, Dual 400Watt PFO MH Ballast pushing 2 - 400Watt 6500k Iwasaki MH bulbs on each each. In the middle I have a 20000k Radium 400Watt MH Bulb on a PFO 400Watt HQI Ballast. A IceCap 660 VHO Ballast pushing 2 160Watt Actinic Blue URI bulbs.

Circulation: The returns are my main circulation. I also have two Tunze Stream Pumps, one on each end connected to a controller to add extra current to the tank. A Tunze WaveBox was added 12-25-2005

Filtration: The overflows from the 180 go to the garage to a 100 Gallon Rubbermaid stock tank that is a little over half full that holds macro algae, Live Rock (100lbs of Premium Fiji, Pohnpei, Marshall Island, Caribbean, and Kaelini Tonga Ultra). I have a PC Light over top of it and the tank has 2 500w heaters in it . The main tank has a ground probe in it. The water is returned from the sump to the 180 gallon tank with a Iwaki WMD30RLXT pump. I have about 200LBS of Live Rock and Live Sand in the 180. The LS and LR have been in different tanks since 1995 so they are well matured. I have mixed sand, Some live and some not, all fine grain sand. I also used Nature's Ocean Bio-Activ Live Reef Sand from Advance Aqua Tanks, This stuff works great. It makes up 50% or more of the sand in my tanks. It is cheaper than most Live Sand. I use Instant Ocean for my mix. The Main pump is connected to a APC Smart-up Battery Pack so I do not have to worry about power outages.

Extras: PRECISION MARINE 6 X 24 CALCIUM REACTOR W/EHIM PUMP. This is used to keep my CA and ALK up. In March 2004 a Delta 1/2 HP Inline Chiller was added and an E.T.S.S 1400 ran by a Panworld 250PS added in June 2005.(removed July 2006)

Additives: I use a CA Reactor for Calcium and Alkalinity (started using 12/2001). I add DT's Phytoplankton to feed the corals and I use a Formula One, Formula Two, and Angel Formula from Ocean Nutrition and Frozen Spirulina Enriched Brine Shrimp by San Francisco Bay Brand mixed with a raw fish mix from Walmart. I feed one cube once a day. I also have Cyclop-eeze in the mix along with Nori Seaweed and one piece of Seaweed is added everyday few days. I soak all the food in Selcon by American Marine Inc and Vita-Chem by Boyd Enterprise Inc. I use Instant Ocean for my mix.

Critters: Purple Tang (purchased 1/2000), Hippo Tang (purchased 1995), White-faced Tang (purchased 6/2002), Lamarks Angel (Purchased 2/2004), Emperor Angel (purchased 5/2003), 5 Green Chromis (purchased 1/2001), 2 MandarinFish (male purchased 1/2006, female purchased 3/2004), Yellow Clown Goby (purchased 1/2006), 2 Red Scooter Blennies (purchased 8/2002) Male pasted away 1/2005, 2 6-line Wrasse (purchased 1/2006), Blue stripped Pipefish(2/2006) several Serpent Stars, few Hermit Crabs, few snails, Variety of mushrooms, Acroporas, Montiporas, Button Polyps, Turbinaria, Montipora foliosa, Fire Coral, Clams, some Macroalgae, other SPS Corals and more.
