Is this a normal color for these anemones?
I've seen a few in the LFS recently that were a nice yellow (not light flourescent yellow like this  , but a more solid yellow like this :) )

Reading through Wet-web media, the info said that this is a "bleached" color. Normal color was supposed to be more brown.

Is that at black ocelaris and an orange as a pair?

^I love those deep colors. I recently picked up the orange flamethrower bta but my point and shoot wont shoot. (at least good pics anyway). If I were to ever get other anemones besides btas I would get a red carpet for sure.

Mine is not insane, but I think it needs some TLC. The LPS sold it for cheap and said it was a green bubble tip.

If it is it is extremely sick. I have had him for about a month, doesn't roam, found a spot under a rock and has stayed, I feed it 1 cube of krill/brine a week.

Should I up the feedings? He is transparent on the upper half and a reddish color on the lower half.

HELP!

Im back wih some questions,
The small anemone as i said I fed it yesterday and when i woke up this morning it had spitted out the shrimp chunk i fed it it was sitting net to it when i woke up but the anemone is still in its place...
Also i have a another new bigger anemone which won attach it just moves along with the current, I turned off both of my powerheads so only the return pump from the sump is working, when i bought this big anemone it was attached and had a good color and everything, a couple of minutes ago I fed a small piece of shrimp which it ate, just to make it feel more comfortable so it would attach, right now its just sitting..

I have a 42gal display with a 15 gal sump, skimmer and a next to be refugium... Dont know much about my lighting I have a 10000K ocean sun and a 7000k white light.. Live rock and about inches of sand

Here are some pics

You have some bad cyno/diatoms/algae going on there, judging from the pics, which leads me to believe you have some water quality problems going on. I would correct that issue before taking on anemones again. And you need to know exactly what lighting you have, it sounded alittle vague. You will have more success with anemones when your water quality improves. Good luck.

I've had bleached look worse than that and recover. You must provide the right water parameters and they will recover. My BTA would float around the tank until he found the right spot. They seem to use the current to move quickly when conditions are unfavorable. Unfortunately in a closed system, they won't be getting far.
feeding them would be my last priority. if you choose to, feed them small particles instead of just one large chunk.

Ok, I will run some tests tomorrow and see how my water parameters are doing...
By the moment the small anemone is still in its place and hasn't moved and the bigger LTA attached near a rock and in the sand bed, I also fed it and it ate just fine, its color went from a strong orange to a lighter orange since I bought it but not too much, I guess its stressed out about all the moving and possibly the water quality :S...

I hope they'll make it :S... I really like anemones but ill have to keep my eye closer on the tank...

Any other advice?

Thanks, Ill let you know what happens
