Here's my first ever bta. It was a beautiful specimen, but unfortunately it had an accident with the vortech powerhead:(

Eco tech is just a couple weeks away from releasing a guard so that anemones willl not get stuck sound good..
 
Thing that strikes me about Gary's photographs is how in focus the entire shot is, the depth of field is enormous. This usually means a small aperture, which means a longer shutter exposure ... which usually means motion blur. I don't get it, I can't take photos like this no matter how hard I try. Gary has his secrets, apparently. :)

Anyhow sorry for the off topic tangent, just commenting on how sick Gary's photos always are. I'm sure you tire of hearing this, but nice photos there Gary .. :cool:

Thanks for sharing your anemone pics everyone. I'm sure they have alleviated much confusion about how healthy anemones are supposed to look like and the difference in species identification.
Here's my little GBTA that I bought from a LFS. They were honest and told me that he was a piece of a larger anemone that kinda fell apart in their holding tanks. You can see the white part of the column where he separated from the larger anemone.
