I didn't quite understand the rules of the OP :o But I am still working on the settings for getting a good FTS. In the meantime... Sony DSC W290 with underwater housing:

Anyone ever take pics under a tank lit with royal blue leds? I can't seem to get a decent shot under my leds....I think the leds are to bright. Can't capture what my eyes are seeing.

This thread made me dig up some more old ones from the Olympus c770. I could never get anything with heavy blues to look right though.

I don't have many good pics to share... (sorry, I don't have settings), but this was taken with a Canon PowerShot A560.

But I was looking at this post as I'm contemplating a new camera. Specifically I'm looking at either the Canon G12 or Nikon P7000. Looks like some great photos are coming from the Canon predecessors!

Great thread, very helpful!

Robojet, Both are an excellence choices. you really can't go wrong with any of the two. What's really going to make a different is your basic understanding of the photo shooting and what each camera is capable of.

Have fun shopping,

Yea I caught them spawning and everyone of them in the tank started spawning. I had one over 1 foot long that you could actually see eat pellets when he spawned it was pretty gross. All in all my tank was cloudy and milky white for about 5 mins while the skimmer went to work. I think I might have the same thing with a snail if I can dig it up.
