my colony got RTN as soon as i got it too, dunno what the deal is with this stuff it seems like it happens alot, but the frags i saved off of it are nice and healthy and encrusting quickly

man you guys have some crazy colors thats for sure, mines starting to go green and pink pretty heavily, ill post a pic again in a few of better shots, but when i first got it it looked identical to a picture above where someone else mentioned losing the colony to rtn

I'm impressed by how well some of you captured the colors of this coral!

How fast do these grow? I have about a 1.5 inch frag, wondering how long it will be until it's good enough size to actually post pics of.

I have had this coral for years and have fraged it many many times and never once has one frag rtn'ed.

Mine has been completely problem free as well. Not the fastest grower for me though.

I'm not sure why this coral isn't getting more love considering that they are coming in quite often from Australia and are gorgeous IMO

That is sooooooo weird. I wanted to call my first sarmentosa strawberry fields.....such a weird co-incedience because I never heard of the ATL strawberry fields acro......although mine looks completely different.

If you look at my tank thread you will see I posted about this around a month ago.

Here is a pic of my sarmentosa. It is one of my favorite corals and I have found it "easy" to keep.
