Post your SPS PE photos

PE. Why didn't you just write polyps?

My buddy's ATL Crayola Plana. I think if these polyps extended any further, they'd fall out of the coralite!

Wow,DNA...is that a focus stacked image?...the degree of detail and depth of field is mind blowing, as well as inspiring!

How many exposures did you use to create that image? Is there a particular software that you use? Again, unbelievable detail and dynamic range!

The best program I've found to focus stack is Helicon Focus. Does an incredible job of finding the sharpest areas of each image. Beats Photoshop CS5 (my latest version) hands down, especially in dark areas or areas of low contrast.

BL that last pic is insane! Never seen an Sps extend that much.
Thank you s_kelley.

I use single exposure.

For goidfin, dave88, akitareefer and Aaron thanks for sharring. All are impressive photos.

Thanks. While I took the photo, credit for the excellent condition of the coral goes to my buddy. He had some outrageous polyp extension going on with many corals. We called this one "The Wookie".

Looking at the pic now, I find myself doing that "geez, I should do x, y and z to this image" thing.
