I don't think we've had a thread for the local tanks yet-

Here's mine-

55g all in tank, no sump, no filtration.

Blackcows, I love the built in look of yours. The painting looks great too!
Where in Gretna? I'm out that way, near 180th and Harrison.

By the way, welcome!

The lagoon has a room of its own, so far no humidity issues, only get a little smell when i feed but it does not last long. battling a little algae now but its coming along

hey tom nice set up, how do you like the deltec skimmer? how long to get it so packed with corals? not to jinx you but should your power ever go out i have generator so you don't lose such a nice tank, that is unless my power is out as well.LOL

Huskerreef. The tank is alittle over the 2 year mark, but some of the corals are 6-8 years old. Some of the fish are 8-10 years old (or at least in my possession that long). Alot of the pieces moved from my old 180 to the current tank. When I moved to the current tank I switched to all softies and gorgonians for I felt they were a bit more forgiving and after having a mixed tank of sps and leathers the mov't of soft stuff was what I liked.

I really like the Deltec. It's a AP 902. I had a Euroreef before, that did a very good job as well. I just felt with the heavy load I was getting to I might need more power. I did alot of research and talked to alot of Deltec owners and that is why I decided to go the route I did. I'll keep the generator thing in the back of my head in case the worst would arise. Thanks for the offer!!
