potbelly and reidi

Hello,
can I keep a potbelly seahorse pair with my reidis ?

or do they require lower temps ?

thank you

I would not house the two species together because potbelly seahorses need temps from 59 to 71F and reidi's need the 72-74F range. They are also from different oceans and might harbor diseases that the other might not be able to handle.

The other issue is that pots get LARGE (about 12"), and tend to be a much more "laterally-minded" SH than most others (they will use every bit of lateral space you give them), so you'll need a good-sized setup with a large footprint.

JMO but for best chances of success only put together seahorses that come from the same breeding source AND requiring the same temperature water.

thank you guys again ...
for some reason, I couldnt find the temp needed for potbelly.

to be honest, I dont think I can ever get the 75G custom tank I have to 59 F lol cost of running a chiller on it all the time is not doable for me lol so gonna stay away from them for now ... perhaps when move to a house witha cold room or a cooler basement lol my condo temp is about 72.

thanks again
