Potter's Angel Finally Ate

I bougt a C. potteri three weeks ago. Semi-impulse as I didn't check to see if she was eating. We have great LFS here though and I didn't think much about it. For all I know she probably was eating. Anyway, my tank is over a year old so she has a lot to pick on. No hair algae though except just a little in my maxi-jet, which she really seemed to enjoy.

I tried all I could think of: various flakes, pellets, fresh clam on the half shell, mysis, frozen angel formula, cyclopese, smeared food on a rock, nori on a clip, garlic on all this, turned the maxi-jet off and put food on the outlet where the algae was, I even hatched some brine shrimp for her and....nothing.

Well, she ate mysis tonight and I feel pretty good about that.

I had the same problem with mine too. I have a few potter's and had never had problems with them eating before. This one would act like she would want to eat and would come out with the rest of my fish in the tank and pretend to eat, but would just spit it out. The past few days I had been melting down mysis, brine, or planton and putting some garlic in there with it all to no avail. And then tonight she ate it. I was happy too. I think I even danced. It had been 2 and half weeks for her. Like your tank mine is about the same age and there was plenty in there for her to eat, but still... It's always nice to have a fish taking food.

Coincidence? I'd look outside to see if it is a full moon, but it just rains here.

What do you attribute your sucess with the other potteri's too, if anything?
