Pound for Pound bragging rights

I just counted the sticks in my tank and I have 47 different kinds of SPS in my 90 gallon tank. I love this hobby and some people may say I'm a little obsessive. Anyone else as obsessive as me? If so, start counting. I have an SPS coral for almost every two gallons. (I'm not including LPS and zoas but they're in there too)

Pound for pound, how do YOU stack up?

Lets see these tanks! In my mind a see a frag tank with live rock...frag plugs glued everywhere with a bunch of 1/2" un-encrusted frags. Prove me wrong! :)

BTW, I am not even in the same realm as you guys. My SPS addiction just started about a month ago and I am only 8 pieces in...but no frag plugs and nothing less than 3 inches... :p

At one point I had like 50 in my 14 gallon lol. I knew I was upgrading so I just kept collecting. Had to get creative with mounting.

How many are greater than six inches in diameter?

Last week I ordered a couple of frag packs and did some reconstruction on my reef. I chiseled out some bigger colonies and removed then replaced some rocks to make room for the new frags.

Out with the old, in with the new. Color is King and Adam has fantastic color.

Lemon Yellow stag

Crazy Bananas

Tyree Matrix

A little over two years ago I picked up some frag packs from Dan Rigle. Can't say enough nice things about Dan. I lost everything when I moved and then again after Hurricane Katrina hit. Dan got me back on my feet again.

The tank is now a mix of small colonies that grew out from frags I received from Dan and Yourreef. Then in the last few months I picked up some ORA frags from a local fish store, and frags from Cultivated Reef, BattleCorals, and a few hobbyists.

A wise man once said "it is not about the quantity but quality my friend"

Show them the pics Mark, I know your tank is amazing. :bounce1:

That's certainly true! I'm sure I mounted corals too close together. Some of the small colonies are growing over their neighbors. That's why I had to remove some and replace the rocks. I'm hoping to upgrade this summer but I'm afraid I'll fill that space quickly as well.
