Pouting.. Anam..Anoemo.Aneme

y is this cnidaria:hydrozoa pouting? It was doing quite well until 24 hours ago....

Infact, I had suspicisions of a split.

The way the base seems to be pinching in the middle is suggestive that it might be beginning to split.

No its the only inhabitant

@Bill - im no expert on cnidaria behavior, do they usually behave like this when splitting? It has been relativly centrally located since being in my tank only moving here and there (inches) when flow is adjusted.


I hope its ok - im pretty confident of my water quality ans ive got LEDs

I may have figured out why. Apparently I've programmed my controller incorrectly - my dosers have kicked on and dosed too much two part.

Looks like I've got CA precipitate!

I've got corals coming in tomorrow for acclamation, water change!
