Powder Blue or Yellow Tang?

I have a 125 gal tank 6 ft long. The last two fish I plan to add will be a Powder Blue and a Yellow tang. If I can't introduce them at the same time which order would you introduce them?

Thanks everyone for your advice. I think I will add them at the same time. Though I agree it's best to add the Yellow Tang first. I think it would be too stressful... At least for me it would be... Lol

Defiantly QT both for at least 4-8 weeks before adding.

My only comment on adding both at the same time is that both should be small otherwise it may be too much for your tank to handle at once. All tangs make for large bio-load in a tank.

Defiantly? Are you against QT?

I came here to post this. Or at least, something similar. I assume they meant "definitely" but it cracked me up that two people in a row had the same amusing typo.

Also, I would agree with adding at the same time after quarantine. Yellows and powder blues both tend to be snots in my experience, so introducing them simultaneously is a good idea.

LOL if anything, MrTuskfish is the strongest advocate for QT on this whole forum. Go to the fish disease forum and see how many times in the past he has strongly suggested use of QT.

I know he is. It is good though, QT is very important and will reduce the chances of introducing a disease into your DT. Would describe my QT protocols, but don't want to detract more than I already am. :) Definitely QT all fish. There I got it right!

should you QT even if LFS treats with copper?

Of course. Most LFS don't run copper at a level high enough to kill ich or velvet. Brooklynella is also is a common parasite to worry about. I have seen all 3 of these parasites with several fish that were kept in LFS water with low levels of Cu. there are also viral and bacterial infections that can show up.
QT is also the best place to acclimate new fish. Its quiet, no bullies or food competitors, etc. Its much easier to get picky fish eating in a QT too....the list of advantages to always using a QT could go on.....peace of mind for the hobbyist is priceless.
