Chances are you won't be able to keep multiple aggressive Acanthurus tangs long term in your tank. I know they are fairly common(atleast over here), but if you want a school of tangs, look at yellow tangs, Zebrasoma flavescens, with an odd ball mixed in here and there(Atlantic blues, Acanthurus coeruleus, and Bristletooths, Ctenochaetus sp., school well with yellows and would provide good contrast) and then an Achilles or Powder Blue.

BTW, how did you ever catch that Sohal out of there. A fish trap or hook and line? Amazing feat in its self!

I pot the pellets in fish nett and he just svimd in the nett by him self. The onli ting dis fish think abort is food and kicking *** off the ader fish. He is quite god frend vith me. Ferd hem from the hand for 1 year

Any further thought on what you will stock the tank with? Thats an amazing tank. I would do 1 achilles and 1 powder blue tang...

Add a few nice fish and you could be TOTM. Although they usually like to give it to posters who have higher post counts.

My fish dye. Oll of dem. Somebadi put chips and alkohol in my tank. Had a bigg party bifore couple mounths ago. Had alot of people here on nuy jear. Nekst dey ven I veack app I Plymouth get a heart atack. My skimmer get wilde and houl tank vas coveret vith alges. Oll my fish had a problems to breadh. I vas post off like hell. The evrithing in tank lockt like somebody spild a milk in it. Oll my fish dye in nekst to deys. I never finde the persone Who Didrik dath.
So no more party at my home. No people are aloud to com near my reff widauth me beeng der.
I was lucky det I save my corals. I had a hell bissy deys and alot of vark to ricover oll my corals. Naw dey are in ekstending condition. But I stil myss my fish.
Tolking abaut my fish dy det way maks me depresing.
I vant to giv oll dis space to 2-3 achillisen tang. Have just dem and som wrasses maybe and some small fish stim.

So I try to kolect some more inf. abort mor dat onde achillisen tang in the same tank.
I'v seen a tanks vid a 3 achillisen tang. So its posible.

This guy had 2 achilles in his tank. From the comments and the dates of his videos, the 2 achilles only lasted a few months. I think they broke out with ich and died. He also adds different large fish to his tank all the time.

Other than Mr Chingchai, I have not seen any home videos of 2 achilles in tank. Even the asians who or known for their wild stocking, dont have 2 achilles in their tanks.

Oh yeah, one forum member "nonimmigrant" has 4 achilles in his ~400g tank. I have not seen any videos of them.

I agree that a powder blue and Achilles are quite doable in this tank. I'd add both at the same time; larger Achilles and smaller powder blue.

I haven't heard much about multiple Achilles in one tank. I think your tank would be well-suited to try it though since it looks like there are lots of caves and passages to weave through if they have any disputes. I'd think that you would need to add them at the same time, but I wonder what sizes would be best? If you did three, either three small ones of about the same size or three of different sizes, I guess. Please make a thread and let us know how it goes if you try this!

2 yers ago I hawe a rebild my reef. Oll my LR are lift app from bouthom. And the houl reef stands ower the sand bed. The houl reef is bild to giv fish allt of pasege under the houl reef. The corals are on the topp in the midel of aquarium. Oll aralds the reef and ander the reef is open space vith alot of
pasege and caves conected vith ichader.
I vish to giv hom to one of the speachis. SÃ¥ the pair or trio vith Achillies tang. Det vil be the only surgen fish in the tank. And the only bigg fish in the tank.
I wil post abort my progres.

I have one achillies but five tangs in my tank. They do fine, even the purple. I have never seen multiple achillies in a home aquarium but you seem to have the setup to try it. Would be amazing. Also, the achillies is the only acanth.

heck of a tank. well done. Next time you have a party get an invisible fence and run wire around your tank. Then put the collar on all your friends. (if it were mine I would put it where the sun don't shine).

Ching Chai have 5 Achilles on 150 gallon qt but it doesnt mean it a good idea...
I have 435 and still afraid of combining them together but that's just me .
