Ok so before I found this forum I added a powder blue tang to my soon to be reef set up. I had two clowns in the tank and added a yellow and powder blue. All those fish are doing very well so yesterday I added a few more. (First fish have been in around three months) I added a flame and coral beauty angel and two purple dottybacks. Now I knew the PBT would be aggressive toward any new tang additions to the tank however mine has been chasing ALL the new fish around pretty much keeping them hidden in caves. Is this normal? Will he stop in a day or two after he gets use to them? Or did I just happen to purchase a butthole? Any advice or help would be appreciated.
And before anyone says it, yes I now know it would have been best to save him for last addition and if I could do it over that's what I'd do. (Found that out after purchase, store told me he'd be fine) I asked a different local store about moving him out, but they suggested since he's happy and healthy leave him alone, apparently it's usually a hard fish and I've had great luck with him other than this aggression issue.
