Powder Brown Tang?

I've been trying to do my homework as to whether or not I have the means to house one of these.... and I'm getting mixed results. The list in the sticky says yes (75G min), store listings say both, but some of the writeups on them (wetwebmedia, etc...) make them sound like they're a little on the lazy side as far as tangs go. So I'm kind of not sure. I working on a 90 (I just need to move so I can set it up), but its going to be pretty open (there will probably be less than 100 lbs of LR in it), and if they don't get very large then I think I have the ability to pull it off given the tank mates and openness, the only concern would be the 4' tank.
I gather they're not the easiest things to keep, but they're not the hardest either.
Can I give it a try? Thanks

I would pass, they really need a 6ft tank and they don't have good survival rates. They can get aggresive espically to any new fish you try to add. If you do, do it i would get it atleast 2-4inches and add it last.

I'd call them a medium difficulty tang, I feed mine selcon/zoe/garlic soaked food twice a week to keep him healthy. I'd make sure you have the tank set up for a couple months before trying to add one, though. Mine does stay in the left half of the tank most of the time ... but he's still a juvenile.

He did get sick a couple times during the first 3 weeks, but he's settled in now and quite a playful little guy ... and very peaceful unless someone tries to pick on him.

I guess it was starting to lean this way. I guess I should probably look into the Zebrasomas... they seem a bit more suited to 4 footers.
