Power Backup

While I was not affected by the hurricane it did have me thinking. In Jersey we do get hurricanes and blizzards. Sometimes even a simple rain storm will knock out power.

Has anyone every tried using a large lithium battery as a backup power source?

It looks promising. I have used UPS battery backups before for the return pump. Probably overkill for my new custom AIO 32 gallon build but I like the idea.

Sure you can use a lithium battery pack..
Did you look at the price of what you linked to? $1800 for 1425Wh (at best)

Compare that with something like this..
Just a bit more than $100 and just needs more gas to keep it running forever.. 1000W max which is usually plenty to run a whole tank..

Now here is a far cheaper lithium solution..

But its only got 150Wh then its done
