Wondering if anyone else has had poweder blue act strange.

Tank-180G
Fish-Swallowtail angel, Solar wrasse, Chromis x2

Hes been in the tank about a year. Toward dusk everyday he starts flashing the front of the tank and dive bombing at high speeds. He also "pecks" at the front of the glass as well. He does this for seveal hours repeatedly before the lights go out.

All the other fish are fine and no outward signs of diease or stray electric current. Seems like the tank has just gotten too small...?

LOL, pretty typical I would say, I had his close relative the Achilles Tang for 5+ years and he showed similar behavior at times. Very entertaining fish. IMO the "diving" part is just them showing everyone they are the boss, which my Achilles certainly was.

Flashes, pecks, and dive bombs the front of the tank as in.... he's in front of the glass or not even looking at the glass? The reflection from the lighting in the water can cause a mirror type image and the tang will be seeing himself. What you've described sounds a lot like this, and the tang is showing his aggresive nature toward itself  My yellow tang has been doing this for a month or so now *sigh*

My sailfin does this every so often. He will go infront of the tank and he will fight the glass actually entertaining if you ask me. Terence has your PBT ever showed any ich? IF he did what did u treat with? and How big is he?

^^^^^^^^ Fighting with the glass..... That is exactly what I was talking about. He is fighting the reflection of himself in the glass.
