power cord isssue with 3155

Hi

I have a 3155 osmolator about a year old it has been an awesome unit thus far. But recently I have had some trouble with the power cord staying tight on the 5017 controller. If I move the cord around sometimes it makes contact and sometimes it does not. Any suggestions or does it need to be replaced.

Hi Dan,

Please unplug the power supply from the wall and inspect the tip that plugs into the 3155 for corrosion. Corrosion will look like a white or brownish coating on the metal. Here's a picture showing what corrosion on the inside of the barrel can look like:

The power supply should be replaced if you're unable to clean off the corrosion.

If that doesn't seem to be the problem then please let me know.
