Dude, what you doing up so late, you must not have kids, or maybe you do
Nah, I wasn't complainin' bout the 15 bucks. It's the fact that I could have gotten the same thing at half the price at WalFart.
Credit card bills leave a paper trail.......for the wife
Actually, I WAS up late due to family issues. And yes, I have kids (2 girls, 9 and 7). My 17 year old nephew was the issue, though. That kind of drama is reserved for those in their teens, so it'll be a bit before mine start in.
I agree with the saving money thing - very much so. However, the bright side is that you were able to offer a bit of support for an LFS. Which, as I'm sure you know, are getting harder and harder to come by.
As for the credit card trail, that's easy enough: have the bills sent to your work! I do!
The way I figure it, I can have toys, too. She has hers (which cost FAR MORE than mine - WAAAAY more!). So why not?
I will admit, though, that I do sometimes hide the costs of items from her. It's easier than getting into an argument. I usually just move the decimal point to the left (although I'm pretty sure she's figured that out already!).
Glad everything worked out.
