Power head question...

Alright, so. I have a modded MJ 1200, the sureflo kit. Also, 2 modded K4's. And my Sedra 9000 return pump...

My corals don't hardly move... Why?

Granted I only have green star polyps, and a pulsing xenia... But even in my 55g that I only had a normal MJ1200 in, the green star polyps "swayed".. For some reason. I can't get it to do that in my 120.

I have all the power heads AND the returns all criss-crossing each other so that it creates "crashing" flow...


Any advice/info?

I have a CurrentSea wavemaker for sale....you can hook mj1200's to it....and control the pulse....

Thanks for the offer Joe, but I am poor... And I still owe PhilipOSU some money for the Tek T5 light and Skimmer that he was kind enough to let me have on a GREAT deal.

It wouldn't be right for me to make any other purchases for my tank without paying my debt first...

And besides... I only have ONE MJ... and 2 K4's. heh

I have that much flow and some on a 72g, (what you have plus another k3) and i dont feel like i have enough. so id imagine you just need more. I would think going with another modded maxi would give you the most bang for your buck once you save up some money.

if you dont want the mag mounts should be able to get it for around $35.
