With the power outage issues due to the storms here in Indiana, I've decided to build a battery backup. Can the streams (6000, 6045) use a modified sine wave inverter or do they have to use a pure sign wave.
The 6000 will be fine with a modified wave, this will not work so well for the 6045, they will likely be noisier, harder to start correctly and I wouldn't recommend it.
