Power outage

We recently had a power outage because of the storms rumbling though North Carolina. The power flicked on and off a few times. Once the power was restored my 6060 is making a grinding noise and the flow is greatly reduced.

What can I do?

Most likely the pump has some calcium build up and as long as it was running it was fine but after it stopped it couldn't really overcome the drag. Take it apart and clean it per the instructions. You don't have to remove the prop from the shaft but I would remove the shaft and the upper bearing. Clean all these parts with vinegar and a brush.

I removed the cover and I saw that the head on the plastic screw that holds the impeller in place had broken off. Must have been some torque applied.

Can you get the remains of the screw out? If so I can send a screw.
