Power strip usage

Is it ok to plug a power srip into another power strip and then plug that into the oulet (GFCI)?

check your fuse box for wall/110 fuses. it should have the amps listed. 15 or 20 is normal. then check your output of what youre pluging in. unless you are using metel halides, which will pull heavy amperage, you should be ok. i would definetly look at all the mentioned first. REEF-ON!!!

I would recommend against it, but for short term it should be OK. Especially if you bought higher end strips. The cheap ones could be an issue.

I agree with "HOP". I have 3 power strips plugged together and not a problem. I have used the cheap ones and they tend not to last as long. Im in the process of building a power center right now. You should consider doing that also as it cleans everything up nicely, but its not cheap(GFCI,outlets, timers, wires, boxes, and cabinet)$$$$$
