Powerbar weirdness

I am experiencing some strange behavior with my 6 outlet powerbar when I plug in my MH ballast. I plug in the ballast to an outlet (not the powerbar) and the MH lamp begins to to light. A few moments later 2 of my sockets on the power bar start turning off and on. Has anyone had this happen? Thanks.
