Powerhead ate another Anemone

This is what an anemone looks like after it gets sucked into a powerhead. He's still holding on to the rock but I somehow doubt he will live much longer.

he does not look that bad... becareful... you may have a bunch of little RBTA's spring up in your tnak now...

Not that bad? Really? I thought for sure that he'll be dead in a day or two. Do they regenerate pretty quickly? He lost about 4/5ths of his tentacles.

think its about time to cover your powerheads properly before you buy anymore??

needle point plastic at the craft store works wonders

The filter in the background is actually a protein skimmer. I placed a filter film around the powerhead so this shouldn't be a problem again.

BTA have been know to survive getting shred to three or four pieces. Formed three or four anemones.

when I was breaking down my tank(moving) my son turned on a powerstrip that was hooksd to a pump for drainage. At that exact time I was taking out the rock with my bta. I jumped and dropped the rock as 120v hit me from the strip. I anemone was torn in half through the foot. You could see his insides. Now I have 2 bta. Good luck.

Needle Point Plastic? Is that enough? I would love to use needle point plastic. In the past I wrapped a strip of fliter material over the powerheads.
