You kindof beat me to my next question, which was what size I should look for? 1200 sounded like it might be high from some of the comments folks have made. I see they've got 400, 600, 900 and 1200 available. I'm just not sure what's right for our size of tank.

Are the MJ's well suited to a wavemaker-type usage? I seem to remember reading a while back that some types were not so tolerant of the constant power cycling. This would be a future upgrade anyway, but any suggestions on a wavemaker unit?

I've been using a low tech wavemaker that looks like a powerstrip and MJ's that are at least 5 years old now and still going strong. I plan on going to Vortech's at some point, but for low budget the MJ and wavemaker works just fine IMO.
