Powerheads off for new RBTA?

My new nem is walking all over. Should I keep the powerheads off till he settles down or keep them going so he can pick a place with flow he likes?

I like the place he's at right now and want to encourage him to stay there if possible.

no telling she wont move again when the powerheads come back on. most bta like medium water flow when first introduced.

Just a bit of warning.

ALYWAS use a cover on a powerhead with an anemone. Trust me, from my own experience of a satisfied anemone, it floated, and died.

I am glad you asked this .. and sorry to hijack the thread. Me and my gf just started a tank ... we have (1) nem in there now. Should we keep the light on/power heads 24/7? I am guessing no.

It depends on your tank (size flow, how new it is... and so on..
Personally I never had a nem walk into a powerhead.
light should be on at least 8-10 hours a day, powerheads I leave on all the time... like I said.. it is my tank, and it does not mean something will not happen to yours.
